Visitors comments

I had not truly considered the meaning and value of borders before - natural or man made. This exhibition has made me think. I've enjoyed the images and the impetus to think my own borders are a bit blurred sometimes. I liked the black and white horses. Border often attempt to divide and separate, make things black and white, but they rarely are.

A very interesting experience (or rather two experiences as I took part in both live events) in terms of provoking thought on the subject of place and borders and in terms of discovering the rich and varied landscape and history of an area which I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise.

How do locals respond to their own area? I wonder what images and creations they might produce for an exhibition on the theme of borderland. The concept here is stimulating and should be the start of a process of local exploration.
